In mid-April, in Secanj – Serbia, the first Public Event was organized within the project “Circular Innovation and Resilient City Labs in the Adrion Region” (CIRCLE).
The event gathered representatives of local and regional authorities (local governments of Banat region and representatives of the Government of AP Vojvodina – Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism), and Chambers of Commerce of Serbia – Regional Chamber of Commerce Zrenjanin.
It was an opportunity to present the CIRCLE project to the one of the key interested parties and discuss the establishment of a new circular business model for electronic and electrical waste management in the City of Zrenjanin. The situation in the local self-governments in the field of waste management and the possibilities for conducting similar pilot actions were also discussed at the event, considering that high level decision makers, including Mayors, participated at event.
