Construction and demolition waste (CDW) is one of heaviest and most voluminous waste streams generated in EU (25%-30% of total) and consists of numerous materials, many of which can be recycled. Almost all of CDW components have a high re-use value.

Design of a joint model for the development and operation of CIRCLabs
The CIRCLE project aims at increasing and spreading knowledge on practical viability of circular economy principles, through a collaborative approach involving innovation producers business actors, administrative and financial organisations as well as civil society within urban areas, where biggest amount of waste is produced and simultaneously innovative circular business models can be implemented. In this framework Circular Innovation Resilient Cities Labs (CIRCLabs) are going to be developed within the project. The aim of the present Deliverable is to design a Joint Model for the development and operation of the CIRCLabs.

Transnational Needs Analysis Report
Transnational Needs Analysis Report contains an overall summary of the related Needs Analysis Reports developed by the project partners,under a common methodological protocol. This report identified commonstrengths and weaknesses in terms of needs of institutional/business environment, regulatory/funding framework,technological gaps, skill requirements regarding waste management models and circular economy.
