Organized CIRCLab Camp in Zrenjanin, Serbia
Within the project CIRCLE, on 9th and 10th of June 2022 RDA Banat organized CIRCLab Camp in the City of Zrenjanin – Serbia. The main objectives of CIRCLab Camp Zrenjanin were to present results of the CIRCLE project, to promote urban labs and the circular approach to waste management (Electrical and Electronic equipment Waste – WEEE), to present good practice example of the waste management, to improve knowledge of CIRCLab participants, to initiate exchange of experience and ideas among participants and to raise awareness among different target groups, with special focus on school children.

Project CIRCLE presented at the Conference ‘Circular Economy, Employment and Digitization in the Light of the Conference on the Future of Europe’
On the March 23. Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia organized Conference under the title „Circular Economy, Employment and Digitization in the Light of the Conference on the Future of Europe“. On that ocassion, RDA Banat presented the project CIRCLE, within the expert panel on "Circular Economy and Employment", as a good practise example implemented in Serbia.

Start of the WEEE Pilot Action in the City of Zrenjanin, Serbia
On December 17th 2021, RDA Banat delivered to the Mayor of the City of Zrenjanin equipment provided through the project Circular Innovation and Resilient City Labs in the Adrion Region – CIRCLE“, by which officially started Pilot Action to includes organized collection of electronic and electrical equipment waste (WEEE) from the territory of the city of Zrenjanin, its recycling and permanent disposal by an authorized WEEE operator.

On September 17, 2021, in the Baroque Hall of the City Administration of the City of Zrenjanin, Serbia, MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION (MoU) on the project „Circular Innovation and Resilient City Labs in the Adrion Region – CIRCLE“ was signed by the CIRCLab community members in Serbia.
